The Dedworth Bee Garden will eventually become a floral square in between new trees planted at the eastern edge of Osgood Park.
'We are making Dedworth a more floral place. We are turning grey spaces "green" through the addition of plants to improve our area and make it a better place to live, work and play.' Cllr Mike Airey & Cllr Ed Wilson
Bee Garden
Dedworth councillors Airey and Wilson started a bee friendly garden at the edge of Osgood Park in 2016. Girl Guides helped plant some small trees in the garden along with a mix of plants that encourage bees and other wildlife. It is the first time shrubs and flowers have been planted in Osgood Park and it’s good to see them coming into bloom”. Plans are in place to extend the garden each year.
